The Admission Requirements

B. S candidates In the engineering technology program you must have earned an Associate of Science (AS), an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or an Associate of Arts (AA) with a GPA of 2.5. Students with GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 may be admitted conditionally. Those with AA degrees who have completed all basic general education courses must complete a total of 18 credits in the appropriate prior technical courses. AS / AS graduates must complete other basic general education courses.

  • Applicants who have not obtained an associate's degree can be admitted to B. S. In the Engineering Technology program, if they have obtained at least 60 BSET transferable credits with a "C" grade or better in all basic general education courses. Applicants in this category must otherwise comply with all other admission requirements to be granted by the chairperson's approval. In addition, students must have completed all development courses before being accepted into the BS Technology Engineering program.
